# Subprocessors

Last updated: September 29, 2026

We use a small number of third parties to run Escape Velocity. A subprocessor is a company we engage to process personal data on our behalf to provide the platform. This page lists them, what they do, the data they handle, and where they operate, and it is part of our [Privacy Policy](/privacy).

## 1. Our Subprocessors

These are the subprocessors we engage to run the platform:

| Subprocessor | Purpose | Data | Region |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Amazon Web Services | Cloud hosting, compute, and storage for the platform, and large language model inference on Amazon Bedrock for the work you run | The platform data we store, including account, content, and usage records, and the prompts, context, and content you direct us to send for inference, and the generated outputs | United States |
| Stripe | Payment processing for your purchases, for which we are the merchant of record | Billing identifiers, limited card metadata (last four digits, type, expiry), billing address, tax identifiers you provide, and transaction records | United States |
| Google | Sign-in with Google (authentication), large language model inference for the work you run, and delivering notifications to the Escape Velocity app on Android | Your name, email address, Google account identifier, and basic profile information; the prompts, context, and content you direct us to send for inference, and the generated outputs; and for notifications, their text, which can include a session's name and the opening of an agent's reply, and the token that identifies your device | United States |
| Apple | Delivering notifications to the Escape Velocity app on iPhone and iPad | The text of each notification, which can include a session's name and the opening of an agent's reply, and the token that identifies your device | United States |
| Anthropic | Large language model inference for the work you run | The prompts, context, and content you direct us to send for inference, and the generated outputs | United States |
| OpenAI | Large language model inference for the work you run | The prompts, context, and content you direct us to send for inference, and the generated outputs | United States |
| xAI | Large language model inference for the work you run | The prompts, context, and content you direct us to send for inference, and the generated outputs | United States |
| Meta | Large language model inference for the work you run | The prompts, context, and content you direct us to send for inference, and the generated outputs | United States |
| Brave Software | Web search, when the work you run needs to look something up on the web | The search queries an agent composes while working on your behalf, which can reflect the content and context you gave it. Results come back from the public web, and no other content you store with us is sent | United States |
| Slack | Messaging for our own team, including the reports an agent sends us when it cannot complete work you asked for | The text of those reports, which can describe what you asked the agent to do, and the account, workspace, and project each one concerns | United States |

## 2. How We Handle Changes

We keep this page current. When we add or change a subprocessor, we update this page, and we will give notice before a new subprocessor begins processing your personal data, so you have a chance to review the change.

## 3. Services You Connect Yourself

Services you connect yourself - such as your Slack workspace, GitHub, Notion, or Linear - are not subprocessors. When you connect one, you authorize an exchange of data between Escape Velocity and a tool you control, and that service acts under its own terms, not on our behalf. Those third-party services are covered in our [Terms of Service](/terms) and [Privacy Policy](/privacy), not on this page. Slack appears in the list above only for our own team's workspace.

## 4. Where Your Data Goes

Apart from the subprocessors above, we keep your data within Escape Velocity's own infrastructure. Our product analytics run on our own systems - the data we collect and process stays within the platform and the subprocessors listed here (our cloud provider for storage, the model providers for inference, our team's messaging for agent reports, and the mobile platforms that deliver notifications to your devices), and we do not send it to third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
