This Acceptable Use Policy is part of our
Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses Escape Velocity. It sets out what you may not do on the platform. Because the platform can act on your behalf, you are responsible for what you direct it to do under this Policy to the same extent as if you did it yourself. If you break this Policy, we may suspend or terminate your access, remove content, or take other action described in the Terms.
1. General
You may not use the platform, the content or inputs you provide, or any action the platform takes at your direction, to:
Break the law, infringe or misappropriate anyone's rights, or bypass the restrictions of any third-party platform or service.
Create, transmit, or store content that is illegal, deceptive, or harmful, including malware, fraud, harassment, or content that invades privacy, or that incites, organizes, promotes, or facilitates violence or crime.
Create deceptive synthetic media, deepfakes, or impersonations intended to mislead.
Send spam or run abusive messaging or outreach, or violate anti-spam laws such as the CAN-SPAM Act.
2. Protecting the Platform and Other Users
Probe, scan, overload, disrupt, or interfere with the platform or its infrastructure, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, to other users' accounts, or to any system or network.
Circumvent or attempt to circumvent usage metering, rate limits, quotas, budgets, access controls, or authentication, whether ours or those of a third-party service the platform connects to.
Introduce viruses, worms, or any code intended to harm, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access.
Scrape, extract, or harvest data from the platform, or use it to build a dataset, except as we expressly permit.
3. Protecting the Models and the Service
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code, models, weights, or underlying algorithms of the platform, except to the extent the law permits despite this restriction.
Attempt to extract, copy, or reconstruct the models we use, including through automated prompting designed to reveal training data, weights, or system instructions.
Use prompt injection, jailbreaks, or other techniques to defeat the safety, security, or usage controls of the platform or the models it uses, or to make the platform act outside the permissions you were granted.
Use the platform to develop a competing model or service, or resell, sublicense, or provide the platform to others as a service, except as we expressly permit in writing.
4. Agents and Connected Services
You are responsible for the agents you build and run and for everything they do, including their use of connected tools and third-party services, to the same extent as if you acted directly.
Do not use agents or browser automation to circumvent access controls, CAPTCHAs, login protections, or other security measures of third-party websites, or to violate any third-party service's terms or rate limits.
When you connect a third-party tool, comply with that tool's own terms, and use only the access you are authorized to grant.
Do not use the platform for safety-critical, medical, legal, financial, or other high-risk decisions without qualified and vigilant human oversight, including verification of the platform's outputs and actions.
5. Regulated and Sensitive Data
Do not submit data subject to special legal regimes - such as HIPAA-regulated health data, PCI-DSS payment card data, or similar - unless we have agreed in writing to support it. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions to submit the content you submit and to connect the accounts you connect.
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or take other action as described in the Terms. We may report illegal activity to the authorities. Nothing in this Policy limits our other rights or remedies.
