You can export your content and work product at any time during the life of your account, and for thirty days after you close it, in a common machine-readable format. We do not lock in your data - if you decide to leave, you can take everything with you, and you can come back. Where an in-product export is available, you can start it from your account settings.

If you close your account, we also refund the unused, paid credit balance remaining on it, to your original payment method - if you leave, you take your unused balance with you. To request an export, email privacy@escapev.ai from your account email and we will help.

These commitments do not apply where we must act on illegal content, a legal or governmental demand, a security or safety risk, or abuse; in those cases we may remove, disable, retain, or preserve content and may be unable to provide an export.

Email privacy@escapev.ai from your account email address and ask us to delete your account. Where the in-product account deletion option is available, you can also start the request from your account settings.

We will verify the request is coming from you and then process it within the time required by applicable law, typically within thirty days. We will confirm by email once it is done.

We delete your profile information, the content and inputs you brought to the platform, any encrypted third-party integration credentials we hold for you, and the usage records associated with your account.

We may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it, such as transaction, tax, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution records, or in de-identified form that can no longer be linked to you. We keep only what is necessary, and for no longer than required.

If you connected third-party tools such as Slack, Linear, Notion, or GitHub, deleting your Escape Velocity account does not delete data held by those services. Manage or revoke that access directly through each tool's own settings.
